The coast of Malaga is one of the most visited in our region due to its quality of life, beautiful landscapes and enormous range of events, activities and places to visit.
With a perfect climate practically year-round, the so called “Costa del Sol” has the badge of a city like Malaga to welcome everyone, locals and tourists, with an extensive cultural life.
The magical towns and their monuments
Near the city, lie some of the most famous and prettiest regions of Spain, such as Nerja. This is the famous location where the well-known series Verano Azul was filmed. We can also find gorgeous corners such as the Balcón de Europa to admire the Mediterranean coast in all its glory. Just like Estepona, a town that inspires colour and history from the south, blending the most traditional folklore with modern aspects in a mix that captivates all its visitors.
We mustn’t leave out some of the most beautiful monuments in the area such as the Castillo de Colomares in Benalmádena. This is a construction built in homage to Christopher Columbus and the discovery of America. It will make the little ones feel like they are in a Disney castle. If you are looking for a moment to connect with nature, we mustn’t forget the botanical garden of Molino de Inca, in Torremolinos. An oasis in the middle of the Costa del Sol to lose yourself in one of the most beautiful settings in the area.
If you are looking for is a perfect blend of activities which combine fun, relaxation and enjoyment, we can’t leave our waterpark off the list. At AquaMijas we offer our attractions for all ages in a unique space on the Costa del Sol, between Mijas and Fuengirola. What’s more, this summer we have a special agreement with Bioparc, in which both attractions can be visited using the same ticket.
